The roadmap out of lockdown has begun however strict rules are still in place with the government instructing businesses and organisations to ensure premises are regulated to Covid Secure requirements. The government ‘Staying Covid Secure’ poster should be displayed in every workplace.
As a minimum, frequently touched surfaces should be wiped down twice a day, preferably at the beginning and the end of the working day. Cleaning should be more frequent depending on the number of people using the space and paying particular attention to all ‘hand touch’ surfaces such as door handles, light switches, work surfaces, remote controls and electronic devices.
Employers should provide handwashing facilities and hand sanitising facilities should also be available at entrances and exits.
